Stephen Gately 1976-2009


Stephen Gately, 33, of the Irish boy band Boyzone died mysteriously yesterday while on vacation in Majorca with his husband Andrew Cowles.  Reports say that he fell asleep after going out for drinks and never awoke.

    Tragedy.

    But the last line surely affirms the line about the Greek gods taking their favorites young (and mercifully).

    So sorry to hear.

    Heaven must be putting together its own boy band.

    I hear it does that all the time.
